Tell me about CETACEANS...

Whales, dolphins and porpoises are known as cetaceans. There are 79 species of cetaceans currently recognized, and we may discover more in the future. Cetaceans are adapted to living their entire lives in the water. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, ranging from tiny dolphins just over 39in (1m) long to the Blue Whale, which is typically 82ft (25m) long and is one of the largest animals ever to have lived on earth. They live in all the oceans of the world, from the warm waters of the equator to the cold waters of the poles.

Tell me about PINNIPEDS...

Seals, sea lions and walruses are known as pinnipeds. There are 35 species of pinnipeds in the world. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The largest pinniped is the southern elephant seal at 5 meters long and weighing 5000kg. Pinnipeds live in all the oceans of the world, from the warm waters of the equator to the cold waters of the poles.
