YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPS
Youth Environmental Camps are a good and innovative way of educating the youth about the conservation of the environment. At these camps, the youth will participate in fun games and educational activities focusing on the importance of the environment and the responsible stewardship towards it. The learning gained from participating in these camps goes beyond what is taught in a classroom. Here, the youth will get to immerse themselves in a natural setting with direct hands on experience with animals and the natural environment. The modules taught in these camps will vary depending on the age group but will all have an environment theme ranging from topics on biodiversity, habitats and ecosystems, natural resources, marine mammals, the coral reef, the forest, outdoor survival, indigenous cultures and conservation.
These specialty camps will also be an income-generating venture for Wildlife In Need and Ocean Adventure. With good marketing, this product would work well for both the Philippine and International school summers and can even be offered during some weekends throughout the year.

| Ocean and Forest Adventure Camp |
Duration:
2.5 days and 2 nights
Description:
This camp will focus on both the terrestrial and marine environment with introductions to conservation, indigenous cultures and outdoor survival. The campers will stay in shared rooms at the Camayan Beach Resort Hotel. During the day, activities will range from lectures, hikes, bird watching, snorkeling to art activities, games and animal encounters, while the activities in the evenings will vary from games, film shows to survival demonstrations by the Aetas.
Participants:
- School kids from ages 10 – 14

| Sleep with the Fishes Overnight Camp |
Duration:
1.5 days/1 night
Description:
Sleep with the Fishes Overnight Camp will introduce kids to the wonders of the marine environment. The camp will start 9:00 AM and will end at the noontime the following day. The kids will sleep over at the aquarium and will be required to bring their own sleeping bags. This camp can be offered throughout the year during scheduled weekends.
Participants:
- School kids of two age groups: 8 – 10 and 11 – 14

| Environmental Day Camps |
Duration:
Half-day (4 to 5 hours) for 5 days (mornings or afternoons)
Concept:
The environmental day camps will be held in the mornings for 5 days. Each day will focus on different topics and activities.
Participants:
- School kids of three age groups, 5 – 7,
8 – 10 and 11 – 14
- Minimun of 6 campers, maximum of 28 campers
